First time here today for breakfast - found you on ocean city restaurants on Facebook Great selection on the menu. Good service and GREAT coffee (hot fresh real coffee), which now a-days is hard to find. Thank you we will be back.
Lucky we stumbled upon this place!! Small, quaint, off-the-beaten-path of touristy ocean spots with friendly service and a traditional Maryland diner menu. Well, aside from the pipeline and a couple of other items. I had the 1/2 pipeline with scrapple gravy on the side. It was very filling and I know it's popular. I don't knock it but probably wouldn't have it again. I imagined more of a skillet style dish instead of the oven baked tower of breakfast it was. The best looking things are the traditional breakfast items. 2 in our party got over easy eggs, done perfectly!! There aren't many places who can do that right in 2023/24. Pancakes were great, all the breakfast sides, scrapple, and chicken fried steak. This is a definite stop on our return to OC!
I don't understand why it is so good. It just is. A simple diner with a fun retro feel puts me instantly at ease. I have long since outgrown chicken tenders, but my teenager loves them. One bite and I was hooked. We dine in, we get take out, and I eat those delicious tenders all the time. And the fries? Oh the fries. So good. Maybe we had gotten so used to the pre-made frozen crap at many places that the good honest homemade food blew us away. It has been months now and we are still blown away. Love it here!
